As we enjoy the holiday season, let us be thankful for Phase I results with the Greenleaf Marina proposal. That the developers pulled their plans with City Hall is a pure indication that we were heard. We must continue.
At this point, Greenleaf Capital has declined a meeting. They told our spokesperson, Todd Pressman, they will finalize their new plans first – and then meet with us. This was not what we hoped for. We want to work collaboratively to share what our community believes is the best fit for all.

We have faith in our community and our Bayway and St. Pete Beach neighbors, as well as government officials and other organizations that continue to support us.
We are NOT losing momentum! We still need everyone on board for Phase II. It is time for Tierra Verde NEXT to grow. We must continue to close the communication gap on the island for this initiative and future projects.
Please reach out to us if you are NOT hearing from your street or HOA captain. It’s possible you don’t have one – several HOAs on the island do not. Please volunteer to be that liaison for your development or street. We can fill you in on the details, but it is not a time-consuming job at all.
We are working to build our database of email addresses. Our goal is to reach as close to 100% as possible. This has never been done in Tierra Verde. It is necessary for emergencies as well as event announcements and other pertinent information that we need and deserve. If you have not officially joined TV Next, please email TierraVerdeNext@gmail.com and just say, YES.
We are selling Tierra Verde Next T-shirts for $20 as a continual fundraiser. If you would like to order, email us your size for a typical T-shirt. The shirts are neon yellow with our logo.
Our community is special. We stick together. We care for each other. Ours is a giving community made up of all sorts of cultures and backgrounds. In my opinion, that’s what makes us work so well together. Enjoy the holidays and stay vigilant as ever.
