The Fight is NOT Over

Dear TV Next members and concerned citizens:
St. Petersburg’s Development Review Commission (DRC) approved Greenleaf’s industrial-sized project for two 72-foot-tall, 300-foot-long boat warehouses next to the bridge into Tierra Verde on May 6. The decision came despite widespread protests, more than 200 community members in attendance, and around 70 people speaking in opposition. This is not the outcome we hoped for, but we are continuing to the next stage of the opposition fight.
.
The TV Next Steering Committee is considering possible next steps. We believe several issues were not fully addressed or considered by the DRC. After interviewing law firms, we have retained legal counsel to evaluate potential grounds for an appeal. Counsel is now reviewing the case record and assessing available options.
When the review is complete, the Steering Committee will determine how to proceed. The decision will be based on both the legal merits of the available options and the financial resources required.

We hope you will contribute to help fund this legal review and any related next steps.
Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated, but substantial donations are needed. All donations will be spent for legal fees and associated expenses for the ongoing effort.
To donate you can:
